Shirley Faye Flournoy Pounders, 51, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at her home. She was born April 18, 1963 to James Flournoy and the late Merlene McMickin Flournoy. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 21, 2015 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Winters officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
Survivors include her Father: James Flournoy of Russellville, AL; Daughters: Joy King of Fulton, and Shannon (Curtis) Gunn of Tupelo, Sons: Marcus Joe King of Golden, and Billy Ray (Christy) Pounders, Jr. of Golden; Special Friend, Douglas Turner of Tremont, Special family, Steve (Cheryl) Turner of Indianola, MS, and Melanie Lester of Clarksdale, MS, 14 Grandchildren, 6 Sisters, 3 Brothers.
Preceded in death by her mother, Merlene Flournoy, 3 Sisters and 1 Brother.
Pallbearers will be: Joshua Turner, Tim Rakestraw, Nick Rakestraw, Terry Wigginton, Terry Summerford, and P.J. Ryan
