Shirley Delaine Neal, age 68, of Toney, passed away Saturday, August 21st, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital. Shirley was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on May 20, 1953, to Floyd and Dorothy Woodall Fears. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, significant other Erskin Moore, brothers Bill Fears and Ronnie Fears, and grandson Jonathon Delong.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters Jodie Dietz (Joe) and Mary Patterson, her son Erskin Devon Thompson (Leslie), grandchildren: LeeAnna Ford, Joey Ford, Kody Patterson, Kayla Patterson, Jacob Thompson, Emily Thompson, Isabella Thompson, Aaron Cobb, and William Swigeart. Great grandchildren Camden Patterson and Emily Ford. She also leaves behind other special family.
Ardmore Chapel is assisting the family. A celebration of life has been planned for a later date.
