Shirley Dean Lanier, 66, of Florence, passed away on April 30, 2026 at her residence.
A visitation will be on Sunday May 3, 2026 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Greenview Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark West officiating.
Ms. Lanier was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cecil Blackstock and Etta Marie Porter Blackstock; father of her children, James E. O’Kelley; brother, James “Jim” Blackstock; sisters, Darleen Jordan and Susie Horton; niece, Angela Blackstock, and nephews, James Jordan, Jr., James Blackstock, Jr., and Billy Porter.
She is survived by daughter, Tracy Anderson (Tim Neff); son, Timothy Blackstock; grandchildren, Jeremy Anderson (Hannah), Justin Anderson, Nicholas Neff (Madison), Zach Roberts, Brittany Johnston (Jordan), and Destiny White (Jerry); great grandchildren, Summer Anderson, Kingston Anderson, Malia White, Meredith White, and Jerry White III; brothers, George Blackstock (Pat), Danny Blackstock, and Huey Blackstock, Sr. (Janice); sisters, Ann Romans, Angela Porter, and Patricia Blackstock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
