Shirley Ann Miller, 63, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday at a local hospital. Shirley was a native of Chattanooga, TN and a resident of Madison County for over 62 years. She was a member of Carter’s Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Miller and was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her mother: Nellie Jo Phillips; three sons: Gregory Lynn Staggs, Jerry Scott Staggs and Roy Lafayette Miller, Jr.; three daughters: Heather Michelle Proaps, Jennifer Christine Miller and Jessica Leighann Pace; two sisters: Martha Ellen Phillips and Janice Carol Rogers; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Carters Grove Baptist Church followed by a church service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL.
