Sheffield Man Arrested And Charged With Drug Trafficking

COLBERT COUNTY-On July 10th, deputies with Colbert County Sheriff’s Office and agents with Colbert County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 43 in Tuscumbia. Vehicle was stopped for no tag.

After speaking with driver it was discovered he had narcotics on his person.

Driver produced a bag from inside his pants that contained 200 fentanyl pills.

Elija Damonte Horrison 26 of Sheffield was arrested for drug trafficking and transported to Colbert County jail.
