Shay Seals, 20, of Hazel Green, passed away on Friday.
She was a 2016 graduate of Hazel Green High School, loved animals and worked as a vet technician. She was always happy and had a bubbly personality that would put a smile on your face. Shay loved singing, listening to music, and enjoying the sunshine.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Ray Seals, and by her grandparents, Tommy “Red” Seals and Wilma Seals.
Surviving family members include her mother, Michelle Seals; Her brothers, Austin Seals and Joey Seals; her sister, Emily Smotherman; Her long-time boyfriend, Andrew Billions; Her grandmother, Hilda Smotherman; Her grandfather, Roger Smotherman; Her grandmother, Joyce Carter; Her grandmother and grandfather, Mavis and Raymond Riddle;
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3pm at the funeral home and burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
Shay blessed many other people through generous organ donation with Alabama’s Legacy of Hope.
