Shawna Craven Midgett, age 63 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville. She was born in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1958 to the late James H and Pauline Lona (Fair) Craven. Before her illness, Shawna was employed as an administrative assistant at St. Andrew’s Sewanee School. Shawna was an adored, loving, and God-fearing wife, mother, and grandmother. Shawna was dearly loved by her family, friends, and all who knew with her. Shawna was an avid walker, and enjoyed being active. When she was not playing with her granddaughter, Willow Ann, she could be found reading or doing a cross stich, two of her favorite past times. Shawna was also a dedicated member of Christ the King Anglican Church. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty years Bill Midgett of Winchester; children Rebecca Midgett of Murfreesboro, Cpt. Andrew Midgett of Chester, Virginia (fiancé Madison Crowder of Smithfield, Virginia), and Molly Midgett of Winchester; granddaughter Willow Ann Midgett of Winchester; and siblings, Cheryl Smith of Madison, Wisconsin, and Sharon Johnson, James Craven Jr, and Shelia Craven of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Visitation with family and friends will be from 1-4pm on Saturday September 11, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:30pm at Christ the King Anglican Church.
