Sharla Poore Gossett, age 76, of Bagley, passed away January 6, 2026. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at New Horizon Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
She was a graduate of Dora High School, Class of 1967 and a member of Owens Chapel Church of God.
Sharla was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Ruby Jo Poore, brother J.W. Poore and sister Johnie Sue Burton.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Steve Gossett, children Matthew (Misty) Gossett, Anthony (Beth) Gossett, grandchildren Karson Gosset, Ben Gossett, Elena Gossett, Chloe Key, Tyler Gossett and Ridge Key, great grandchild Nyla White, siblings Sandra Skalnik and Kim Davis, brother-in-law Paul (Allison) Gossett, sisters-in-law Linda (Art) Moorehead, Marilyn (Frank) Trombrello, Ruth Childers, Tina (Andy) Guerra, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
