MONTGOMERY-The Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries is conducting seminars across the state to educate hunters about the Game Check harvesting system and new hunting regulations that become effective this year. The complete Game Check seminar schedule of dates and locations is atwww.outdooralabama.com/game-check-seminar-series or call WFF at 334-242-3465.

Game Check results from last year’s hunting season, hunting and fishing regulation changes, and new public hunting opportunities for hunters will be explained during the seminars. A question and answer session will follow.

Most of the seminars are being conducted by WFF Director Chuck Sykes. “The seminars are giving me the opportunity to meet hunters from across the state and to get their feedback on hunting in Alabama. I think it’s important to show them that our department is willing to listen to their suggestions,” he said.

If Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations are needed for one of the meetings, call 334-242-3465. Requests should be made as soon as possible, but at least 72 hours in advance.
