Donna Kay Loague – Obituary

Donna Kay Loague, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the NMMC Hospice unit after a short battle with cancer. Donna is the daughter of the late Billy and Velma Fowler. She was employed at H.M. Richards and loved by every one of them. She loved to play softball and still has all of her softball buddies. She loved to tell the stories of growing up in “Tater Hills.”

She is survived by her girls Shannon and Sydney.

She had two sisters: Betty Peters (Mack) of Tupelo, and Billie Lee Covert of Sterling, CO.; three brothers: Gilbert Fowler of Mooreville, Kerry Fowler of Marrietta, and Terry Fowler of Fulton. She also had a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her large “chosen” family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Velma Fowler.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017, at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time only on Friday.

Honorary pallbearers will be the women of the Silver Streak and Cooper Cleaners softball teams and special friends: Jeanie Graham, Quita Michael, Sherry Berry, Kristie Wilcox, Tara Robbins, Linda Goolsby, Chicago Meyer, Mary Jones, and Bonnie Hancock.

The girls ask that everyone reminisce on their favorite memory of their Donna Kay and we’ll see y’all there. She will be forever loved by her two girls.
