Scarlett Maretta Wallace, 54, of Cherokee passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bruce Palmer and Randall Michael officiating. The burial will follow at Barton Cemetery.
Maretta was a member of Barton United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Carl and Bernice Taylor. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ronald W. Wallace; son, Andrew Shane Taylor; daughter, Brandy Nichole Shook and husband, Dell Jr.; brother, Steve Taylor; sister, Teresa Hamm and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers include Darryl Pickle, Daniel Taylor, Tony Pounders, Devin Kimbrough, Cody Dobbs and Bob Little.
