MInister Sarann McCoy Cato Minister Sarann McCoy Cato, 73 of Birmingham, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, Feb. 23, 2024. Sister Cato was an Evangelist, Minister and former Pastor, who loved the Lord and spent her life devoted to serving God and loving people. She was a member of All Nations Church in Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H. B. and Bernice McCoy; siblings, Herbert, Joe, Ricky and Tommy McCoy, Dorothy McCoy Burr and Debra McCoy Bennett.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Regina Duffie and husband, Raynard, Patti Roberts and husband Paul, Danny Cato and Cathy Jones and husband Andrew; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Faye Shipp (Glenn), Carolyn Cato, Barbara Taylor, Brenda James, Vickie Cato and Beverly Cato; her babies, Frisky and Coco; several nieces, nephews. cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Friday March 1, 24 at 12:00 pm at Faith Temple Church 3233 Jefferson Ave. SW Birmingham, AL 35221. Bishop Jonathan Woods, Sr. will officiate. Visitation is Friday from 10:30 am until service time at the church. The place of burial will be announced on Monday.
