Sarah “Jeweldean” Cole, 79, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 04, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home with Bro Roger Lovelady and Siresa Osborn officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born on July 17, 1945 to the late Claude and Alma Lovelady Purser, Jeweldean enjoyed going on road trips, NASCAR and Alabama Football. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
Survivors include her children, Jimmy (Rhonda) Cole, Charlotte (Kenny) Vandiver, and Rickey Cole; grandchildren, Shane (Felicia) Woods, Jason (Tasha) Woods, Anthony (Kat) Woods, Dale (Tina) Woods, Amber (Jonathan) Richey, Justin (April) Anderson, Myranda (Cody) McGuire, Houston Vandiver, Allen Cole, Josh Cole, Byron Cole, and Natasha Cole; 41 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Linda Arnold; brother, O.D. (Melanie) Purser; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jeweldean was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jasper Purser, and Dallis Purser; sisters, Francis Loosier, and Lucille Colburn; and great-granddaugher, Autumn Woods.
Pallbearers will be Josh Cole, Jerry Purser, Kenneth “Lil’ Ant” Woods, Gavin Young, Darren Cole, and Brandon Hagood. Honorary pallbearers will be Brooklyn Woods, and Christopher Woods.
The family extends special thanks to Dr. Steven Harbin, Dr. Basu, Dr. Boyles, the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Valley and Decatur Morgan Home Health, and to all who took care of our loved one.
