Mrs. Sarah Esther Mayhall passed away June 26, 2014 at Madison Manor Nursing Home. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Mayhall was born April 4, 1926, to Ben and Alice Moffitt Meggison.
Funeral services will be held June 29, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Moss-Service Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Rodgers and Michele Thornton; son, Clarence Mayhall; sister, Sandy Newman; grandchildren, Phillip Rodgers, Eric Rodgers, Miche (Zaine) Suggs and Kyle Thornton and great-grandchild, Sidney Suggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Mayhall; son, Clarence Mayhall and daughter-in-law, Lene Pentecost.
