Sandra Louise Graves McAslan, at age 76, met her Creator on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 after an extended illness. Born in Tupelo on Feb. 10, l947 to the late Sam Graves and Frances Nabors, Sandra spend all of her life in this area except for 23 years spent in Michigan where she was engaged in sales. Her later years were spent as a housewife and homemaker. She was a graduate of Okolona High School and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church there. She never had children but was a doting Aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews.
Per her request, there will be a private family committal at Lee Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is entrusted with the arrangements.
Sandra is survived by her siblings and their families; brother, Sam Graves of Okolona and Mooreville and sisters, Judy Grone of Venice, Fla., Genia Graves of Okolona, Angela Savely and Janet Rock both of Batesville; a special lifelong friend, Frances Tackett of Okolona and a special family member, Vickie Graves Linder of Tupelo.
