Sandra Kay Tucker Tallent, 74, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2025, at her residence in Athens, Alabama.
She was born on Thursday, March 08, 1951, in Madison County, Alabama, to the late Mr. James Burlin Tucker and Mrs. Dorothy Marie Hicklen Tucker.
She lived most of her life in Athens, Alabama. Sandra was of the Baptist faith.
She loved spending time coloring or painting, as well as working in her yard and flowerbed.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, James Wilburn Tallent, one grandson, Jericho Harris.
She is survived by one son, Steven Emery, one daughter, Sabrinia (Tim) Sides, three sisters, Peggy Banks, Sara Fanning, and Janice Gunderson, five Grandchildren, as well as five great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home Service on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A chapel service will begin at 2:00 PM.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
