Funeral service for Sandra Jean DeMonia, 84, will be Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. DeMonia passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1942, in New York, to Frederick J. Bulkley and Mary Elizabeth Bronson Bulkley.
She was employed as a Nurse for Decatur Morgan Hospital, prior to her retirement. She also was a Veteran and served as a Nurse for the United States Air Force. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Christian lady who loved the Lord and was a member of the Hartselle First Assembly Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill DeMonia, and her son Shane DeMonia.
Survivors include
Two sons – Derek Drouillard, and Billy DeMonia
her Daughter – Michelle Denise Wilson,
three Brothers- Fred Bulkley, Richard Bulkley, and Billy Bulkley
a Sister – Annette Hood,
Eight Grandchildren,
Twelve Great Grandchildren,
a Sister-in-law – Jane DeMonia,
and her Nephew – Jamie DeMonia.
