Mandy Ethel Graves was born November 25, 1944 to Eldred and Pearl Dickerson Wright. She was United in marriage to Jerry L. Graves on September 20, 1960. Mr. Graves preceded her in death May 1,1997. This union was blessed with five children: Rickey, Keith, Joyce, April, and Dawn. Mrs. Mandy was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Collinwood. Faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was the cornerstone of her life. She enjoyed nothing more than being in the house of God every opportunity she had. She loved the family God blessed her with and wanted to spend as much time with them as she could. Mrs. Graves departed this life on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the age of 81 years, 9 months, and 28 days.
Survivors include: her daughter, Dawn Graves; her brother Coy Wright of Collinwood, TN; she is also survived by six grandchildren: Rachel Lard and husband Buck of Waynesboro, TN; Daniel Graves and wife Candria of Collinwood, TN; Becca Daniel and husband Justin; Blake Graves and wife Shelby; Kayla Potete all of Waynesboro, TN; Tyler Potete of Collinwood, TN as well as 10 great grandchildren, Lexie Lard, Jackson Lard, Aubree Graves, Caden Graves, Addy-Kate Daniel, Mayleigh Daniel, Kinsley Daniel, Lincoln Graves, Larkyn Graves, and Lawson Graves.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by four children, Joyce Graves, Rickey Graves, Keith Graves, April Potete; two sisters, Betty Adams, Nell Brewer three brothers, Glen Wright, Roy Wright, Stevie Wright
Visitation with the Graves family will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM -9:00
PM and again on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM all at Cornerstone Church of Collinwood.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Cornerstone Church of Collinwood with Jimmy Martin and Daniel Graves officiating. Interment will follow in McGlamery Cemetery.
