Samuel-Sam-Nasca-1438783873Samuel “Sam” Salvador Nasca, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Sam was born on November 4, 1924 to the late Jerry Nasca and Jennie Pace Nasca in Mt. Morris, New York. Sam married Suzanne Sauers on November 17, 1962. After 20 years he retired from the Post Office, Sam then went on to work another twenty years at Domino’s Pizza. Sam was of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith and was faithful in his religion since 1954. He was patient to a fault. Sam was humorous and always cracking jokes.

The family will celebrate Sam’s life on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Bro. Lance Anderson officiating. The family will visit with friends after the service at Woodman of the World building in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Sam is survived by his loving wife Suzanne Nasca of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; son Stephen (Treasa) Nasca of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; daughter Terri (Byron) Nasca Steele of Belvidere, Tennessee; granddaughter Tera Nasca (Thomas) Hester; great-granddaughter of Aeciana Hester of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Jennie Nasca; brothers Joe Nasca, Dominic Nasca, John Nasca, Angelo Nasca, and sister Rose Nasca.

The family would like to say a special thank you to NHC Home Care Lawrenceburg; Hospice Compassus Lawrenceburg; Alice Steele; Treasa Nasca, Tera Nasca, and Naomi McCulloch who were able to sit and assist his every need especially during his last week of life; the friends and family of Jehovah’s Witnesses; and special friends Duane Orton, Frank Baker, and others for their friendship.
