Sammy Ray Hall, 59, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1955, to Wesley Monroe and Ruby Mae Warren Hall. He worked for Rowan Offshore Oril Company, at Corrozza Manufacturing Co. in Tupelo for 13 1/2 years, and as an industrial painter for Cook and Riley. He was a wrestler for Continental Wrestling and started and owned Bad Boys Promotions Wrestling Company. He enjoyed woodworking and loved his grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Danny Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the East Fulton (White Church) Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Lynn Hall; his daughter, Samantha Thompson (Dusty); his grandchildren, Kaylin Brooke, Karly, and Kady Noel Thompson; and his beloved mother-in-law, Esther Lee Sheffield, all of Fulton; one brother, Jackie Hall (Missy) of Tupelo; four sisters, Martha Harris (Billy) of Nettleton, Sandra Shelton (Billy) and Wanda Bishop (Gary), both of Plantersville, and Edwinna “Winnie” Gist (Jimmy) of Nettleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Gist, Cory Gist, Kevin Gist, Rodney Bishop, Alan Kilgore, Randall Inmon, and Ricky Joe Inman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Blaylock and his former wrestling partners.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p. m. Friday, October 31, at the funeral home.
