Samantha “Sam” Caudill, 41, was born June 20, 1972 and went to be with God on August 9, 2013. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with her cousin Mark Wigington officiating. The burial will be at Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Sam graduated from Sheffield High School in 1991 and attended the Shoals Community College for five years. She was employed of Parallax Building Systems. Sam loved life and was the life of the party. She loved to make people laugh. She loved kids and they loved her. She was preceded in death by her dad, Leonard “Hicker-nut” Hogland.
She is survived by her parents, Bonnie and Mickey Azbell; sisters, Kim Hogland (Travis Knight), Amy Nelson (Lee), Tara Johnston (Bill), Sabrina Smith (David); fiancé, Terry Holden and his son, Christian; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers are Dusty and Cody Mansell, Gannon Gann, Buddy Collier, Brian Boersma, and Ben Hamm.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of the MFMC.
