Sadie Mae Kincaid Amis, age 92, Huntsville, Alabama, passed away February 8, 2026.
Born in Giles County Tennessee, she attended Giles County High School. She worked for the FAA in Birmingham, Alabama until retirement. She played basketball for Giles County High School and loved to quilt and to read. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife of 72 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by son, John Amis (Lori); daughter, Carol Calvert (Mike); grandchildren, Ben Calvert (Jess), Joe Calvert, (Jen), Brooke Calvert, Codi Ann Amis, and Courtney Amis; and great-grandchildren Parker, Hannah, Shelby, James and Jack Calvert.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tennessee with Dr. Mike Calvert officiating.
