David Thomas Gallaher, better known as “Microwave Dave”, passed away Friday at age 79. Dave served his country as a Air Force Intelligence Specialist during the Vietnam War before launching his music career. He made many contributions to the community, especially through the Microwave Dave Foundation which provided funding for local schools to host musicians to teach students about music.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
