Ruth Marie Miller Rickard, age 75, passed away Jan. 3, 2018. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral will be Saturday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery in Rogersville.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Allen Rickard; daughter, Pamela Alvarado; grandson, Christopher Hayden Butler; and parents, Cecil and Ruby Miller.
Survivors include her children, Glenda Ezekiel, David Keith Butler (Pam Herd), Cindy Kilpatrick, Chris Butler (Kelly), and Daniel Price (Karen); son-in-law, Pancho Alvarado; siblings, JoAnn White, Ray Miller, Patsy Jones (Eugene), and Steve Miller; 16 grandchildren; and numerous loving great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
Pallbearers will include John Pearson, Brian Shook, Brian Butler, Wayne Shook, Hunter Butler, and Skyler Butler.
Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
