Judy Gail Williams – Obituary

Judy Gail Williams, 66, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, while visiting her family in Memphis, Tennessee. Judy was a caring, giving individual, very passionate about her family and the welfare of animals, and volunteered with local pet organizations and shelters regularly selflessly giving her time and opening her home to countless animals in need throughout her life.

She is survived by two children, Patrick A Pennington and Marlena D Pennington and their spouses, as well as seven grandchildren, all of Memphis, Tennessee; her mother and stepfather, Marvalene and Bill Richardson, and two sisters, Susan Styles and Patricia Harrison and their families, all of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edsel Williams, of Rusellville, Alabama, and her beloved cat, Gizmo.

Memorial services for her will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1828 Broadway Blvd., Florence, AL 35630. Visitation is at 10 a.m. The service is at 11 a.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be sent to her favorite charity PAWS (Pets are Worth Saving), 2701 Mall Rd.
