Russell Allen “Rusty” Green, 49 of Arab Alabama died Tuesday – May 16, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Russell was born on September 19, 1966 in Marshall County the son of Lionel “Buddy” Green & Sydenia Ann “Deanie” Head Green. He was a 1984 graduate of Arab High School. Russell worked in collections for various attorneys.
Russell was a member of North Parkway Church of Christ.
He is survived by his parents: Buddy & Deanie Green; a brother and sister-in-law Gary Lionel & Sue Green; a sister Jennifer Nicole Green; grandmother: Ozell Green; nephew: Madison Green; Nieces: Hailey Jordan (Matt), Morgan Taylor Glass (Dalton) and a great nephew Easton Jordan.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday – May 19, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Mike Douglas and Randy Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Madison Green, Matt Jordan, Dalton Glass, Jim Neal, Rodney Reece and Shannon Head.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Willis and Junior Breedwell
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation, Dialysis Association or American Diabetes Association.
