Ruby Blanche Wallace Hale, age 91, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016. Visitation will be today from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Don Miller, Colby Junkins, and Frank Richey officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Homer Liles, Mike Rhodes, Ed Garner, James Larry Hale Jr., Andrew Hale, James McGuire, and Michael McGuire.
Ruby was a member of River Bend Church of Christ and was a self-employed farmer.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Will and Roxie Wallace; husband, James E. Hale; son, James Larry Hale; and sister, Dorothy Harrison and husband, Alfred.
Survivors are her children, Billy W. Hale (Melba) and Deborah K. Brust (Bill); grandchildren, James Larry Hale Jr., (Jennifer), Andrew Hale, Terry Littlejohn, Sybrina Westmoreland, Dr. James McGuire (Rachael), and Michael McGuire (Heather); and 12 great-grandchildren.
