Reba Alexander Reed, 82, Leighton, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Leighton Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow in the church chapel with Bro. Mark Mayfield officiating. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Leighton.
Reba was a member of Leighton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Robert E. Reed; parents, Fredit Earl and Lou Della Inman Alexander; brothers, Ernest Ray Alexander (Marie), Bobby Ralph Alexander (Jane), and James Robert Alexander; and sister, Ruby Elizabeth Alexander.
Reba is survived by her children, Dewayne Reed (Shanda) and Lori Reed Lowery (Benji); brothers, Joe David Alexander (Margaret) and Billy Max Alexander (Debbie); sister, Ruth Annette Alexander; grandchildren, Ashlyn Pifer Brewer (Brettley) and Chandler Isaac Reed; and bonus great-grandchildren, Maddie Laine Brewer and Tyson Brett Brewer.
The family gratefully acknowledges the excellent care, love, and support provided to Reba during her illness, including Gentiva Hospice (Rosa, Hanna, Renea, and Jeff); sitters, Tammi Thompson, Leigh Ann Richardson, and Sandy Berryman; and especially her beloved granddaughter Ashlyn, who has devoted the last five years meeting the needs of her Nana and Papaw.
