Royce Ray Cody, 80, of New Hope, passed away Monday.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Cody; parents, Clifton R. and Sallie Cora Cody; daughter, Julie Fisher, sisters, Jane Norman and Jo Ann Terry; brothers, Marshall Cody and Herbert Junior Cody and granddaughters, Elizabeth Fisher and Michelle Cody.
Surviving are wife, Glenda Cody; sons, Ricky Ray Cody and Charles David Cody; sisters, Ruby (James) Keel, Joyce Slayton, Martha Pruitt and Betty Lanier; brothers, Ervin (Deborah) Cody and Roger (Carol) Cody; grandson, Christopher (Kara) Hand; granddaughters, Kristi (Raymon) Baker, Melissa Cody and Tracy Cody, great grandchildren, Tyler, Jamison, Raven, Alita, Bree, Matt, Brody and Sean; and step daughter, Wendy Schrimsher.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at Friday 1:00 pm at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trotwood Mance and Bro. Jack Graves officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher Hand, Johnathan Cody, Jack Graves, Wayne Norman, Robert Norman and Bro. Ed.
Interment will be in Walker Cemetery.
