Roy Preston Blair, 90, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Paris, TX, worked as a mechanic and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dennis, MS. He was a U.S. Marine serving in the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services will be held in his hometown in Texas. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Seagoville, TX. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.

He is survived by his wife – Val Jean Blair;  three children – Preston Wade Blair (Melissa), Shanda George (Bro. Jerry) and Roy Britt Blair (Cindy); seven grandchildren – Valerie Westmoreland (Josh), J. Blaine Martin (Whitney), Jared Blair (Elizabeth), Ryan Blair (Rachel), Henry Blair, Mack Blair and Catherine Blair; two great-grandchildren– Max and Heidi Westmoreland; three sisters – Betty Kirkland (Clyde), Joyce Freeman and Judy McFadden (Steve) and a favorite aunt – Lorene Moore.

He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Blair, parents, Clarence Preston and Pearl Fultz Blair, two brothers, Mickey Blair and Clarence Blair and one sister, Dorothy Campbell.
