Roy Neal McDonald, age 84, of Lewisburg, TN passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Walker Die Casting, Inc., and a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Lewisburg, TN where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Brown and Josie Elizabeth Sudduth McDonald; and three brothers, Joseph Aaron McDonald, L.C. McDonald, and Jack Wesley McDonald.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ruth Mobbs McDonald of Lewisburg, TN; two daughters, Janet F. Sharp of Lewisburg, TN, and Lorenda Sue Patterson of Nashville, TN; two grandsons, Graig A. Sharp (Amanda) of Shelbyville, TN, and John R. Patterson (Masoumeh), Charlotte, NC; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021, with Joe Coleman officiating.
