Bob Hawkins, age 75, of Germantown, TN passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at his residence. He Lived in Memphis, most of his adult life. He retired from the Railroad, and a long-time member of Memphis-Raleigh Seventh-day Adventist Church. Bob was an avid traveler, antique collector, and enjoyed photography. He especially liked helping people, and was very supportive of the Highland Academy and the Memphis Jr. Academy in Memphis, as well as his church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Kaye Hawkins, of Lawrenceburg, his adoptive parents, Axel and Ruth Haugen; one half-brother; and two half-sisters. He is survived by a half-sister and many cousins, as well as many close friends that he thought of as his extended family.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Pleasant Garden Cemetery at 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2021, with Rev. Steven Caza officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Memphis-Raleigh Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4204 Jackson Ave., Memphis, TN 38128.
