Ronnie Kekelis, 84, of Somerville, AL passed away on September 21, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Ohio on December 3, 1940 to George and Helen Kekelis.
Mr. Kekelis was a proud Vietnam veteran. He was a simple man who loved his family and dogs, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his brown leather couch!! Even after his family bought a new one, he stayed faithful to the old one and slept on it every single night.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ann Kekelis (Lahti); his daughter, Pamela Jean Parsons (Romanick); his parents George and Helen Kekelis; his brother, James (Tea) Kekelis; and his sister, Carol Myers.
He is survived by his children, John Kekelis(Kelly) and Elizabeth (Beth) Romanick, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
