Ronda Kay Brewster Ms. Ronda Kay Brewster, age 72, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Monday morning, March 2, 2026 at Regency Rehab in Madison, AL. Ronda was born in Minden, Louisiana on January 12, 1954 and has lived in Huntsville, Alabama since 1996. She was the daughter of Albert Tolbert Brewster and Rushie LaRue Gulledge Brewster. Ronda was a high school graduate and with some college credits.

Her life was full of many hobbies and adventures. The artistic side of her life was shown in the portraits and crochet creations she made for others. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and music, especially Paul McCarthy. She found joy in reading for her entertainment and cooking for her family. She especially enjoyed cooking her beloved Cajun food.

Her true joy came from spending time with her family. Ronda is survived by her sons, Kyle Cross (Terri) and Nathan Bowen (Kay); her grandchildren Gage Cross (Katelyn) and Julian Gamble-Bowen, her great grandchildren; Aiden Cross and Addison Cross; her niece, Kim Shilling; her nephew, Russell Brewster and family friends Lynn Barron and Teresa Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Tolbert Brewster and Rushie LaRue Gulledge Brewster; her brother, Terry Brewster; and her grandson, Chase Cross.

A Graveside Services for Ronda will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery in the Morgan City area. Brother Fred Childs will officiate at the graveside. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
