Ronald Wayne Gwatney, 61, of Iuka, MS, formerly of Lake Charles, LA, died Saturday, November 8, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Mr. Gwatney was a member of Mission Lighthouse Church in Iuka. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. John Gwatney and Rev. David Delino. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bryan Gwatney, Dustin Delino, Thomas Michel, Jonathan Sanders, John Paul Sanders, and David Delino. Honorary pallbearers include Eric Gwatney and Greg Ratliff. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two brothers, John Gwatney and wife, Sherry, and Donald Gwatney, all of Iuka; one sister, Bonnie Gwatney Delino and husband, David, of Abbeville, LA; six nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Davis Gwatney; his father, Charles Ray Gwatney; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Lighthouse Church in Iuka, MS.
