Ronald Joseph Potts, 76, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away at his home on February 25, 2017 peacefully in his sleep.
Ron was born in Corinth, Mississippi on January 23, 1941. He had a career at TVA, upon retirement worked as a FEMA contractor. He enjoyed restoring vintage automobiles, flying his plane and fishing.
Ron is survived by his two children, Melanie and Greg, grandchildren, David and Kaylan; as well as brothers, Charlie and Karl; sisters, Bernadette, Kathy, Rosie, Martha and Cecelia and many nieces and nephews.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, James Potts and Margaret Teresa Potts Kitts; as well as his brothers Walter (Sonny) James Potts and Joseph Kitts.
Visitation service will be Friday, June 2nd from 6-8pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
