Ronald Earl “Ronnie” Ferguson, 74 of Dora, passed away July 1, 2022.
He was a graduate of Dora High School and Samford University. He was a member of Sumiton Church of God and was an avid Auburn fan. He was also an Eagle Scout. His greatest love in life was his family. He was a loving husband, father, and “Bop” to his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 5, 22 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lane Sargent and Pastor Harv Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 12:30 pm until service time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Ferguson and his grandparents, Albert and Inez Wilkie and Pearl Cecil Ferguson and Jala Lois Blanton Ferguson.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Rhonda Ferguson; daughters, Ginger Abbott (Anthony), Amanda Wilson (Barry) and Madeline Dye (Phillip); grandchildren, Aiden Abbott and Brooks, Millicent and Case Wilson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
