Ronald Dean AlexanderRonald Dean Alexander, age 70 of Franklin, TN formerly of Flint, Michigan passed away January 13, 2019 after an extended battle with Lewy Body disease. He grew up in Flint, Michigan where he started as a tool and dye apprentice with General Motors at the age of 18 and continued to work for them for the next 40 years. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Imogene Wilson Alexander. Survived by: wife, Joyce Alexander; sons, Carl (Kayla) Alexander of Hendersonville, TN, Casey (Jenna) Alexander of Johnston, CO, Chad Alexander of Thompson’s Station, TN and sister, Carla (Gerald) Huber of Elberton, GA. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Lucy, Chloe, Emerie and Gunner and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ron loved golf, University of Michigan football (Go Blue), boggie boarding at Pawley’s Island and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his quick wit and dry humor. Ron was an active member of the Joy Class at Epworth United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dr. Angela Harris and Pastor Mark Coursey officiating. Visitation will be 4-7PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Williamson Memorial.
