Funeral service for Ronald Benjamin “Monkey” Hill, age 72, of Trinity will be 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Smith officiating. Mr. Hill passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was born May 6, 1951, in Ohio to Benjamin Hill and Wilma (Thomas) Hill Eady. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Thomas Lynn Hill. Ronald graduated from West Morgan High School in 1969. He loved all sports, especially playing basketball and baseball. Ronald went on to work at Monsanto/Solutia for more than 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Vicky Watkins Hill; son, Ronald Eric Hill; daughter, Monica Hill Jones (Adam); sister, Patty Hill Huskey (Jerry); and two grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Jones and Mollie Kate Jones.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
