Roland Dwayne Weathers, 69, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mr. Weathers was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and a retired truck driver. He was a member of Burnsville Lodge #233 F&AM. He loved life, loved God, and loved spending time with his family. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, at Southwest Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Bobby Johnson. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue until service time at the church. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Marie Weathers of Burnsville, MS; one son, Dennis Weathers of Georgia; one step-son, Ricky Brown of Iuka, MS; one daughter, Debbie Martindale and husband, Doug, of Walnut, MS; two step-daughters, Brenda Hamm and Debora Cooper, both of Burnsville, MS; five brothers, Russell Weathers, Benny Weathers, and Frank Weathers, all of Iuka, MS, and Rex Weathers and Neal Weathers, both of Burnsville, MS; two sisters, Mary Bonds of Iuka, MS, and Jane Weathers of Burnsville, MS; four grandchildren, Amber McConnell, Tyler Martindale, and Brandie Brooks, all of Walnut, MS, and Lee Smith of Southaven, MS; one special step-grandchild, Destiny Hamm of Burnsville, MS; seven other step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Weathers; and his parents, Roland G. Weathers and Annie Ree Wright Gray. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
