Roger William Simmons was born January 17, 1956 to Bill and Irene Sharp Simmons. Precious angels took him to heaven on October 4, 2021 from his home on earth. He was an auto parts counter man all of his life, appreciated to have been a part of Lynchburg Auto Parts and for the past 20 years honored to have been on the outstanding team at C & T Auto Parts in Fayetteville. He loved the Lord Jesus, his family and friends, all music and flowers, especially zinnias. He was happiest with his church family in Sunday school and church at Harmony. He is survived by his wife and best friend forever, Mary Kaye and Cocoa; sister, Anita (Keith) Jackson; brother, Larry (Jane) Simmons; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Bob Smith; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Roger has requested donations to Faith Promise, c/o Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8891 Lynchburg Rd, Winchester, TN 37398. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2 pm at Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Joe Butler. Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 188 Majors Blvd, Lynchburg, TN 37352 (931) 759-4552
