Roger Dodd, age 78, of Winfield, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the Diversicare Nursing Home in Winfield, AL.
Roger was born on July 28, 1946, in Fayette, AL to the late D.T. and Ethel Juanita McDonald Dodd. He was married to Deborah Barnes. He was a resident of the Wayside Community most of his life, and had retired from Jim Walter Mining and a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Barnes Dodd of Winfield, 3 sons, Mike Dodd of Montgomery, AL, Greg Dodd and Jason Dodd of Winfield, AL, 4 grandchildren, Kayden, Adam, Cody, Garrett, great-grandchild, Kohen, brother, David (Sarah) Dodd of Winfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Dodd
Services held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 5:00 PM from the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Guin, AL with burial in the Old Union Cemetery.
