, age 68, of Florence, passed away December 7, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dwayne McDuff and Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lovelace was a retired manager of the Florence Gas Department and served as past president of ANGA. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, were he served as deacon. He coached Upward Basketball for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Estelle Lovelace, and grandparents, Homer and Louise Lovelace. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jeanne Golden Lovelace; children, Dale (Kim) Lovelace, Walnut Grove, MO, and Michelle Lovelace Taylor and fiancé, Robert Durham of Florence; siblings, David (Glenda) Lovelace, Doyle (Brenda) Lovelace, and Stella (Bob) McDuff; grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, and Joshua Lovelace, Nashville, TN, and Skylar and Ali Grace Taylor of Florence; great-grandchildren, Erin Caldwell, Elizabeth Caldwell, and Isaac McMorries of Nashville; and several loving nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the responders from Florence Fire and Police Department, WICP, and Dr. Lyman Mitchell and his nurse Charlie. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
