 Robert Vanstory, Jr. 57, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1956, in Tishomingo County to Howard and Mary Ruth Caldwell Vanstory. He worked in the furniture industry and was an avid hunter.

No public services will be held. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Vanstory, of Peaceful Valley; one son, Christopher Michael Vanstory (Lisa) of Myrtle; one daughter, Adele Sheffield (Danny) of Tupelo; one brother, Jody Vanstory of Ripley; three sisters, Shirley Starlin (Roger) of Dorsey, Martha Barnhart of Nettleton, and Mary Clayton (Steve) of Blue Springs; eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gerald Vanstory, Billy Vanstory, and Travis Vanstory; and one sister, Polly Bass.
