Mary Pearl Evans Stanford, 82, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home.
The visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Special music will be provided by Terri Clark. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She is survived by her children, Robert W. Stanford, Jr., (wife, Debra) of Russellville, Sheila Ann Stanford of Florence, Sharon Elaine Stanford of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Anna Stanford (Boston, MA), Joseph Stanford (Birmingham); siblings, Ruby Shadle (Glendale, AZ), Edith Sandlin (Winfield, AL), Lora Manasco (Moline, IL), Grady Evans (Winfield, AL); and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Stanford, Sr.; parents, Jess & Mary (Dickinson) Evans; and brothers, JE Evans, Leasle Evans .
The pallbearers will be Pat Seal, John Seal, Mickey Seal, Charles Bentley, Joe Stanford, and Chris Burcham.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Bartness & staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home, especially the Station 6 employees, for their wonderful and loving care.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
