Robert Noel “Bobby” Potts Sr., age 72, passed away Nov. 2, 2016. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army on Huntsville Road in Florence on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. with Captain Benjamin and Wendy Deuel officiating.
Bobby was a member of the Salvation Army. He loved flea markets, yard sales, and repairing lawn mowers. He was a devoted husband and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Grady and Oleta Potts, and siblings, Roy Potts, Sonny Potts, and Shirley Thomas.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Lillie Marie Potts; children, Buddy Potts (Mary), Gloria Potts, Trudy Potts Roberts, Jeff Potts (Cindy), and Jimmy Robinett; grandchildren, Tiffany Potts Sykes, Justin Roberts, Charity Ellard, Jessica Potts, Dustin Roberts, Ariel Keeton, Chase Roberts, Clarissa Thompson, Shanna Potts, and Layla Potts; six great-grandchildren; sisters, May Guffey and Linda Potts; and special pet, Pepper.
