Robert Keith Ballentine, age 78, of Ethridge, TN passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Colbert County, AL, retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company, an Ethridge City Commissioner, and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Ballentine loved watching sports, especially baseball. He exhibited his love of baseball by coaching Dixie Youth Baseball. Mr. Ballentine served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Stanley Ballentine; and one sister, Danita Ballentine.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ballentine of Ethridge, TN; one son, Jason Ballentine of Ethridge, TN; one sister, Jean Ballentine of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026, with Tim Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
