Funeral services for Louise Poindexter, 90 of Corinth are set for 11am Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment in Pebble Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10am-11am at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Jeff Haney will officiate the service. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Born April 28, 1936 in Counce, TN., Mrs. Poindexter passed from this life on July 6, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed fishing, camping and playing Bingo. Louise is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Shadburn (Stacy); 5 grandchildren, Nikki Vandiver (Scott), Curtis Glidewell (Courtney), Jake Glidewell (Maddie), Briley Shadburn (Crissy) and Easton Shadburn (Jacob); 7 great grandchildren, Trinity Vandiver, Ella Glidewell, Jaxton Glidewell, Grayson Glidewell, Lyna Glidewell, Myles Truss and Tilly Truss; brothers, Billy Ray Rickman (Diane) and Robert “D.” Rickman (Annette); sister, Linda Spencer (Jerry); other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Poindexter; son, Jeff Milligan; father, Charlie Rickman; mother, Jewel Rickman; brothers, Charles Rickman, William “Bill” Rickman. Roy Rickman and John Rickman and her sister, Mary Beeland. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Velma Louise Poindexter.
