Robert Julian Romero, 52 of Athens, passed away on Friday, April 28th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Romero was born on December 19th, 1970, in Kentucky, to Carlos Crump Romero and Judy Yancey Simmons.
Mr. Romero is survived by his wife Maria Romero; children Julian Romero and Felicity Romero; brothers Carlos Yancey Romero and Timothy Romero; sisters Carla Pickett, Johanniah Mullenix, and Danielle Simmons; parents Carlos Crump Romero and Susan S. Romero, and Judy Simmons; niece Felicia Romero; and nephews Carlos J. Romero and Leo Mullenix.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
M. Romero was a subcontractor for Cognizant and Meta. He loved being outdoors, enjoying biking, hiking, kayaking, and just recently started taking up golf. He also loved playing his guitar, and spending time with his son playing board games. He just loved people. But most importantly, he loved his Lord! He was the best Dad, and a very loving husband. He will be dearly missed!
