Dwaine Dee Franks, 50 of Graysville, passed away May 2, 23 at his residence.
He grew up in Pleasant Grove. He graduated from Hueytown High School and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid Alabama fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny Franks and Glenda Isbell.
Survivors include his wife, Juan Franks; daughter, Jordan Lacey; sister, Stacey Franks Smith (Greg Hale); mother-in-law, Jackie Flo York; father-in-law, Charles William York, Jr.; brother-in-law, Chae York (Alex); sister-in-law, Tammy Walters (John); nieces and nephews, Carlie Smith, Colton and Hudson York and Tyler and Alyssa Thomas; great niece, Brooklynn and his beloved pet, Lexi.
A memorial service will be held Friday May 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm.
